The Pitt Rivers Museum is looking for a qualified textile conservator for a 1 year Arts Council-funded position to document and assess parts of the museum's textile collections. The collections specialist will work as part of the 'Talking Threads' textile and clothing project for one year. Experience of working with ethnographic textiles is essential. The conservator will work closely with a collections specialist to document parts of the collection, focussing on technical details of construction and materials.
Grade 5: £25,941.00 - £30,942.00 per annum
