SRAL will host the CHSOS three day training workshop on ‘Practical Methods for Art Examination’. CHSOS serves an international audience of art professionals: conservators, art historians, and conservation scientists. Its technical innovations and strategies are being adopted by museums and cultural institutions worldwide. CHSOS disseminates this knowledge through the CHSOS website, publications, and training programmes.

Training modules
This 3-day training program comprises:
1st day. Technical Photography (TP) including Infrared Reflectography (IRR) and Ultraviolet Fluorescence (UVF)
2nd day. Advanced Technical Photography
3rd day. Reflectance Spectroscopy (RS) and Multi Spectral Imaging (MSI)

CHSOS provides practical methods for the scientific examination of fine arts, historical and archaeological objects. The focus will be on photographic techniques that can be used for the identification and mapping of pigments.

Standard: € 850.00
