The National Archives is looking for two Senior Conservation Managers: Senior Conservation Manager - Treatment and Senior Conservation Manager - Engagement
A conservator with excellent skills in conservation practice and related research. This is a great opportunity to work with TNA'S amazing collection and develop high-end conservation projects with a team of book, paper and photograph conservators. You will support and undertake research projects in Collection Care, across departments at TNA, and beyond.
The National Archives is also looking for a conservator, curator, or art historian to manage our Exhibitions and Loans team. You will lead on creating learning and development opportunities for our team and enhancing our external engagement programme.
The Collection Care Department currently has a team of 2 Senior Conservation Managers (Digitisation and Preservation) and a Senior Conservation Scientist. The two advertised posts: Senior Conservation Manager - Treatment and Senior Conservation Manager - Engagement will complement the complete team and shape the work of our department and the development of the archival conservation profession in general.
