Sharra Grow (seated third in from the left), IIC Editor of "News in Conservation", participated on a panel at the Society of Winterthur Fellows event on Friday, May 10th (Delaware, USA). Along with her fellow panelists, Sharra discussed career paths in areas outside of the traditional role of bench conservator and curator. Main topics of discussion included: What other options are there besides the traditional museum jobs for conservators and curators? How do you find and develop "outside-the-box" opportunities? Fulfillment and success in one's career can take on many forms.
